About

Brandon Collins (彫水) is an award-winning, nomadic tattoo artist from Reno, Nevada USA.

Brandon has been tattooing since 2006 and has spent the majority of that time tattooing at Lasting Dose Tattoo and Art Collective in Reno, NV. Brandon specializes in large format, semi-realistic, illustrative Japanese tattoos. After leaving Reno in 2016, Brandon has tattooed in 10 different countries on 4 continents, at dozens of tattoo shops and conventions around the world. Brandon solidified his admiration for Japanese styles of tattooing while traveling and tattooing in Japan (2012). During that time, Brandon was given the honorary name “Hori Mizu” by Shu Sawada and Horikyo Sensei.

Brandon takes inspiration from nature, Japanese mythology, and Art Nuevo as well as contemporary tattoo artists like Shige, Jeff Gogue, Tang Ping and Flip Leu to create lasting, beautiful tattoos that you will be proud to wear for the rest of your life.
